Client:
Jazean is a premium coffee brand of the Saudi Coffee Company, part of to the State Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF). This is not just a brand of coffee, but a cultural ambassador of the country.
Objective:
To develop a cafeteria design project in which the architectural language speaks the same dialect as the history and Muslim heritage of the region — without decorative cliches.
Solution:
The history of Saudi Arabia begins with the desert — scorching sun, wind and endless dunes. We were inspired by the wavy lines of the sand ridges and abandoned right angles: there is not a single strict line in the interior — everything flows like dunes in the wind.

Client:
Jazean is reviving the traditions of one of the world's oldest coffee growing communities, the plantations hidden in the mountains of south Arabia.
Format:
The Jazean format is not coffee shops in the usual sense, but experience centers: spaces where a guest simultaneously drinks coffee and lives the history of Saudi hospitality culture. The task of the interior is to make this living physical: through form, light and material.
Craft:
Coffea Arabica grains are harvested here by hand, carefully preserving the ritual passed down from generation to generation. We moved this ritual into space: the floor, lined with shards of light stone, resembles the sun—cracked earth, the same one on which southern farmers have been cultivating Arabica for centuries.
Frieze:
A graphic frieze with figures of coffee growers and floral ornaments unfolds on the walls — a visual chronicle of the Jizan region.
